Following a successful career over 24 years at a senior level in the
outbound UK travel sector. Jeanne established Travelscape, a travel
and tourism consultancy and research business. Jeanne held senior
management positions at TUI UK, which is the number one UK, based
overseas leisure company.
Jeanne's extensive sales, business development and multi channel distribution experience in a highly competitive, low margin international and domestic marketplace drives the Travelscape philosophy to deliver a commercial edge and focus to every project ensuring a return on investment.
Lee Ormesher has a wealth of experience in the travel sector and has
held a number of posts at a senior level. She is well known and
respected within the travel industry and her strategic and results
oriented track record demonstrates her wide-ranging business
experience, both within the UK and overseas.
Lee's initial grounding was in information technology and the development of business critical solutions, which has resulted in her structured approach to challenges and her ability to deliver. In the last ten years, Lee has worked as a company director for the largest UK holiday company, TUI UK (previously part of the Thomson Travel Group). Her first directorship was as the Commercial Director for a specialist Thomson subsidiary, following which she was then promoted to the main board and ultimately held the position of Customer Operations Director.
She has also been a director of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents), the leading UK travel industry body. In addition to her consultancy work, Lee holds non-executive directorship posts for several organisations in both the public and private sector.
Lately a consultant to TBR in Newcastle, Lesley spent five years with
Dipsticks Research Limited as Operations Director. There she oversaw
the development and day-to-day operations of the fieldwork and CATI
Teams as well as having responsibility for company wide Human Resources
and Quality Management. Lesley has over 20 years extensive research and
evaluation experience in both public and private sectors.
Organisations that she has worked for include North Tyneside Council, Home Housing, the Audit Commission, Newcastle Building Society, North-Eastern Cooperative Group, Northumbria University and Newcastle City Council. She has worked as an auditor, evaluator, researcher and information professional, both employed and in a freelance capacity.
